About

Wisconsin Youth Education in Shooting Sports (WIYESS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. WIYESS is the state’s only all-inclusive provider of shooting sports in elementary through high school as an extracurricular co-ed activity. WIYESS’s priorities are to provide a safety and fun family environment under annually certified adult supervision. WIYESS oversees American Skeet, American Trap, Sporting Clays, Olympic Skeet and Olympic Trap at local, state, tournaments, and virtual leagues across the state.

WIYESS is a proud affiliate of USA Youth Education in Shooting Sports (USAYESS). WIYESS also partners with the MidwayUSA Foundation and wildlife conservation organizations to help grow youth shooting programs to help them become self-sufficient and ensure longevity.

Welcome the Wisconsin’s newest youth shooting sports program. Wisconsin Youth Education in Shooting Sports (WIYESS) is part of a nationwide community and recognized by Larry and Brenda Potterfield, the MidwayUSA Foundation, USAYESS, and industry. By being a part of this community the state will be able to share ideas with other YESS states to help start, support, and introduce individual youth and youth teams to firearm safety in a fun-filled environment under certified adult supervision.
